Respect for the rules of conduct on the portal crimesofcommunism.net is monitored by moderators, who are authorized to remove content that does not comply with the commenting rules. For violating the rules, a user can receive a warning, and for gross violations, they can be temporarily or permanently excluded.
To maintain order on the portal and lead discussions at a pleasant and civilized level, please adhere to the following rules. In the comments, it is not allowed to:
Violate the laws (we especially draw your attention to inciting hatred or discrimination, justifying or glorifying criminal acts, violating copyright, pedophilia, animal torture, etc.; criminal offenses of terrorism from Article 99 of the Penal Code («Official Gazette», no. 125/11, 144/12, 56/15, 61/15, 101/17, 118/18, 126/19, and 84/21), criminal offenses related to child pornography from Article 163 of the Penal Code («Official Gazette», no. 125/11, 144/12, 56/15, 61/15, 101/17, 118/18, 126/19, and 84/21) and criminal offenses related to racism and xenophobia from Article 125 of the Penal Code («Official Gazette», no. 125/11, 144/12, 56/15, 61/15, 101/17, 118/18, 126/19, and 84/21)). In the Republic of Croatia, the Croatian language and Latin script are officially used, comments written in other languages or scripts will be removed.
Advertising services and products, inserting links, using inappropriate nicknames (nick) or other people’s photos (avatar).
Writing unnecessary and unwanted information, information unrelated to the topic (trolling), writing in an inappropriate manner, swearing, insulting, offensive writing, writing in a way that reduces readability, writing exclusively in capital letters, etc.
Interfering with the work of the portal’s editorial staff (ignoring warnings, rewriting deleted comments, provoking or insulting the portal’s employees, etc.) Insulting or provoking article authors, and direct or indirect subjects of articles, calling out, threatening, provoking, and arguing with the administrator.
Using new «clone» accounts while your commenting is banned or simultaneously using multiple user accounts («nicks») or using multiple user accounts in a way that confuses others (discussing the same topic with multiple «nicks», agreeing with your own arguments).
Provoking and/or insulting interlocutors, deliberately provoking personal-level arguments, leading unconstructive discussions, provoking religious, national, etc., conflicts.
Publishing private data of other commentators or any form of virtual harassment (group attacks, mockery, writing false claims as facts with the aim of humiliation, etc.)
Publishing private messages.

The owners of the portal and the editorial staff cannot be held responsible for the content of comments. The portal’s editorial team works to sanction prohibited comments, but some entries may be overlooked or not noticed in time.
