AND WHILE THERE ARE HEARTS, THERE WILL BE CROATIA
The Croatian Society of Historians “Dr. Rudolf Horvat” recently celebrated 15 years of activity, but despite the new books that are in preparation, this anniversary will be celebrated in a slightly different way. Namely, this year the Croatian people are celebrating important anniversaries of national importance, namely the 200th anniversary of the birth of the Father of the Homeland Dr. Ante Starčević and the 150th anniversary of the birth of the Croatian historian Dr. Rudolf Horvat and the celebrated Croatian writer Antun Gustav Matoš. Therefore, under the motto “As long as there is a heart, there will be Croatia”, the Croatian Society of Historians “Dr. Rudolf Horvat” in cooperation with numerous friends (Croatian Home Guard – Metković Branch, Matica Hrvatska – Split Branch, Matica Hrvatska – Zadar Branch, Matica Hrvatska – Rijeka Branch, Association for the Promotion of Heritage “Primorski Hrvat”, Veterans’ Center for Social Development, Croatian Home Guard – Zaprešić Branch, Community of Victimology Associations of Osijek-Baranja County (Croatian Home Guard – Osijek Branch, HOZ Jazovka – Đakovo Branch and Croatian Society of Political Prisoners of Osijek-Baranja County) and the City of Gospić) is organizing a series of forums entitled “Croatian Heart” – In Memory of Croatian Greats.
